Welcome to the Big Ten 91视频 Women+ in IT community!

The WIT peer group was created in 2018 and sponsored by BTAA CIOs to strengthen recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in IT across the Big Ten.

This diverse group has been created to expand connections to one another, and provide a place for respectful dialogue, timely questions, and broad sharing of best practices and insights.

Nominate the Next BTAA WIT Co-Vice Chairs

We鈥檙e excited to announce that nominations are now open for the BTAA Women in Technology (WIT) 2025鈥26 Co-Vice ChairsThis is a fantastic opportunity to grow as a leader, shape the future of BTAA WIT, and connect with peers across institutions.

馃ЛResponsibilities of Co-Vice Chairs

(Three-year commitment: Year 1 鈥 Co-Vice Chair, Year 2 鈥 Co-Chair, Year 3 鈥 Past Chair)

  • Attend monthly Executive and quarterly Steering Committee meetings
  • Preside over meetings in the absence of the Chairs
  • Represent the Chairs at external meetings when needed
  • Step into the Chair role if it becomes vacant
  • Collect and share meeting presentations and minutes
  • Participate in onboarding new Steering Committee members

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have served at least one year as a BTAA WIT Steering Committee member. .
  • Must be employed by a BTAA university
